Что случилось

16 января вступит в силу одна из норм закона «Об обеспечении функционирования украинского языка как государственного». Все сферы обслуживания (рестораны, кафе, магазины, спортзалы) обязаны перейти на украинский язык. То есть работники этих заведений должны обращаться к посетителям только на украинском языке.

«Но это не значит, что обслуживать будут исключительно на украинском языке. Клиент имеет право на персональное обслуживание на ином языке, который подходит обеим сторонам», – говорит Семен Астапов, адвокат SBH Law Offices.

Если компания не будет следовать закону, получит предупреждение, и нужно будет исправить ситуацию в течение месяца. За второе нарушение будут штрафовать на сумму от 5100 до 6800 грн.

«Тем не менее, часть бизнеса не привыкла общаться с клиентами на украинском языке, а уж тем более – подготовить всю информацию о своих товарах на украинском. Секретариат уполномоченного по защите государственного языка может проводить внеплановые проверки», – сказал адвокат SBH Law Offices Семен Астапов.

Что с рекламой и интернет-магазинами

Также на украинском должна быть онлайн-реклама и интернет-магазины.

Интернет-магазины должны по умолчанию загружаться на украинском языке. А пользователь уже сам сможет выбирать, на каком языке получать всю информацию.

С онлайн-рекламой сложнее. Отображение рекламы зависит от того, какой язык установлен на гаджете пользователя. Если интерфейс Facebook на русском языке, то и рекламу показывают на русском.

Та же история с Google. Если вводить запрос на русском, то и рекламные варианты предоставляются на русском.

Из-за этих алгоритмов рекламщики будут терять трафик. Агентство shema.team наглядно показало, как это работает. Реклама по поисковому запросу «доставка цветов» показала охват 4,4 тыс. пользователей, а украинская версия «доставка квітів» – всего 720.
