Відео тривалістю 1 хвилину та 17 секунд було створено у партнерстві із продакшн-студією Veed.me. Архівні фото надали The German Federal Archives (Німецькі федеральні архіви). Музику до ролика написав Нільс Фрам (Nils Frahm), який є німцем за походженням.

Google відзначає річницю падіння Берлінської стіни у формі Doodle не вперше. У 2009 компанія вже змінювала свою головну сторінку на честь 20-річчя події.
