Однак, як виявилося, трек написав ніхто інший, як українська співачка і депутат Злата Огневич. Артистка та її продюсер, знаменитий композитор Михайло Некрасов більше півроку не афішували авторство пісні. Пісня Pray For Ukraine з відеорядом була викладена командою Злати Огневич інкогніто - на YouTube каналі з однойменною назвою в квітні 2014 року і підписана як "Unknown Artist",пише ТСН

У ролику використані кадри, зняті іноземними та українськими знімальними групами під час трагічних подій на Майдані на початку 2014 року.

Анотація до відео була зроблена англійською мовою і говорила "Як художник, я не можу залишатися осторонь від подій, але, щоб не відволікати вашу увагу від пісні, я не називаю свого імені. Дозволимо музиці об'єднати наші серця".

Головний посил пісні "Відкрийте свої серця для України. Вірте і моліться" звучить рефреном упродовж усього треку. Найбільше поширення трек отримав у скандинавських країнах. На вітчизняні радіостанції пісня потрапила з хіт-парадів Швеції.

Деякі українські ЗМІ, послухавши трек, приписували авторство Арміну Ван Бюрену. Насправді музику до пісні написав Михайло Некрасов, слова - Вікторія Некрасова, директор артистки. А голос "невідомої співачки" належить Златі Огневич.
