Разработчики из Стэнфордского и Кембриджского университетов создали систему машинного обучения, которая дает возможность проанализировать лайки в фейсбуке и определить психологические особенности исследуемого.

Психологи отметили, что точность оценок оказалась выше той, которую могут показать при анкетировании друзья испытуемого. Работа ученых вышла в издании Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, кратко о нем пишет Новое Время

В тесте поучаствовали 86 тысяч добровольцев. Они прошли психологический тест, а также дали специалистам возможность изучить их активность в соцсети. 

Авторы проекта указали, что программе хватило около 100-150 лайков для подготовки психологического портрета человека более точного, чем описания от его близких. Истинным в этом случае считался итог теста добровольца, а точность - корреляцией между ним и оценкой по опросу друзей или подсчетам программы. В среднем она составила 56% для компьютера и 49% для знакомых человека.

Личностный портрет, который определяет программа, взят учеными из психологической модели Большой пятерки. В ее рамках человека характеризуют по пяти количественным предрасположенностям - экстравертность, доброжелательность, совестливость, невротизм и готовность к новому.
