Инженерный университет UTEC в Перу и агентство FCB Mayo известны своей гениальной outdoor рекламой, спомощью которой они очищали воздух и собирали воду. На этот раз они пошли дальше и начали выращивать салат.

Размещенный в регионе, где ирригация с местных рек часто загрязненная кадмием и свинцом, билборд состоит из 10 больших осушителей, которые собирают воду из воздуха, которая затем проходит по серии труб, покрытых биогенным веществом. Белые ПВХ трубы также отражают солнечные лучи и стимулируют фотосинтез, чтобы вырос питательный салат в гидропонике,пишет mmr.ua

Более 2800 пучков салата раздается еженедельно местному сообществу с места размещения билборда.

Как отмечают создатели билборда "в настоящее время органические продукты становятся все более важными по сравнению с продуктами, прошедшими химическую обработку. UTEC захотел найти самый эффективный способ вырастить урожай в 2000 пучков салата, используя чистую воду, доставленную с помощью панели. Кроме произваодства салата билборд производит 96 литров питьевой воды в день, чтобы снабжать ею сообщество".
