В Киеве избили журналиста из Новой Зеландии Джареда Моргана, сообщает интернет-издание Телекритика со ссылкой на Facebook журналиста Андрея Алексина.

Сообщается, что нападение произошло рядом с домом, где живет Морган. Якобы трем юношам не понравились проукраинские взгляды журналиста и пострадавший полагает, что это могли быть беженцы. В данный момент, с сотрясением мозга журналист пребывает в больнице скорой помощи.

По информации Алексина, Морган живет в Киеве с 2011 года, он является лауреатом премии ассоциации журналистов Kiwi и бывшим репортером австралийской Fairfax.

В то же время, в пресс-службе МВД заявили, что столичные правоохранители проверяют сообщение об избиении иностранного журналиста.

"На одном из ведущих сайтов со ссылкой на информацию из соцсети появилась статья о том, что в Киеве неизвестные жестоко избили иностранного журналиста. В настоящее время в столичную милицию не поступило заявление от потерпевшего представителя масс-медиа, также отсутствуют сообщения от медицинских учреждений относительно этого события", - отметили в ведомстве.
