Празький фонд «Відкрите суспільство» у співпраці з чеським відділенням Google та компанією Newton Media відзначили журналістів року. Призи отримали суспільний мовник «Чеське телебачення», Aktuálně.cz, Respect та журнал Reporter.

Як пише сайт ceskenoviny.cz, журналістів відзначили з-поміж 413 загальнонаціональних та регіональних медіа,передае Media Sapiens

Серед премійованих робіт є ті, що присвячені подіям в Україні. У номінації «Найкраще інтерв’ю» відзначили журналіста сайту Aktuálně.cz Яна Газдика (Jan Gazdík) за інтерв’ю із кореспондентом Czech TV Йозефом Падзеркою (Josef Pazderka), який працює у Криму.

Сайт Aktuálně.cz був відзначений також за роботу міжнародного відділу, який коментував події в Україні день за днем.

В категорії аудіовізуальних медіа премію отримала група репортерів з «Чеського телебачення», які документували події в Україні.

«Всі переможці і номінанти заслуговують великого привітання, оскільки конкуренція цього року була навіть більшою, ніж торік. Рішення журі було непростим», - сказав виконавчий директор празького фонду «Відкрите суспільство» (Open Society Fund Prague) Роберт Баш (Robert Basch).

Інші відзначені матеріали були присвячені в основному внутрішньо чеським подіям: політичному життю країни та соціальним проблемам.
