Немецкая разведка занималась прослушиванием высших должностных лиц президентского дворца и МИД Франции, а также Еврокомиссии  

Об этом передает «Европейская правда»  со ссылкой на издание немецкое «Sueddeutsche Zeitung».

Прослушивание и запись телефонных разговоров проходили на базе разведки Бад-Айблинг в Баварии, материалы передавались в Национальное агентство по безопасности.

Издание не уточняет, как долго велось прослушивание Франции и Еврокомиссии.

Бад-Айблинг является бывшей шпионской базой США, которая в 2004 году была передана немецкой разведке.

«Ключевым является то, что речь идет о политическом шпионаже за нашими соседями и европейскими институциями», — цитирует издание одного из немецких чиновников, которые знакомы с делом. В то же время немецких политиков не прослушивали.

Ни Франция, ни Еврокомиссия ситуацию с прослушиваниями еще не комментировали.

Как сообщали , в декабре 2014 года президент Грузии Георгий Маргвелашвили подписал закон о тайной прослушке, по которому парламент 30 ноября преодолел ветою.

А в сентябре 2014 года в Турции были задержаны десятки сотрудников полиции по подозрению в заговоре против правительства страны.
