20 липня кримськотатарський телеканал АTR відновив інформаційне мовлення зі студії у Києві. Про це йдеться у спеціальному ролику телеканалу «Zaman - ми повертаємось в ефір».

Спочатку в ефірі з'являться лише випуски інформслужби каналу «Заман» (Zaman).

Нагадаємо, Президент України Петро Порошенко доручив Міністерству інформаційної політики створити умови для мовлення кримськотатарського телеканалу ATR в Україні. 

Раніше віце-прем'єр-міністр - міністр культури В'ячеслав Кириленко виступив за надання кримському телеканалу ATR можливості мовити в Україні.

З 1 квітня в включеному Росією Криму припинив припинив мовлення єдиний  кримськотатарський телеканал ATR, який транслював передачі російською, українською та кримськотатарською мовами. Він і ряд інших кримськотатарських ЗМІ не пройшли перереєстрацію в Роскомнадзор, незважаючи на численні спроби подати необхідні документи. Засновники каналу визнали ці дії проросійських органів навмисними.

Також, російський журналіст Айдер Муждабаєв, який нещодавно переїхав в Україну, призначений заступником гендиректора телеканалу ATR Ленура Іслямова.
