Посольство США Литві оголосило про грант у розмірі 500 тисяч доларів для російськомовних репортерів. Відповідне опис розміщено на сайт посольства, повідомляє ZN.ua

Проект під назвою "Тренінг з розслідувальної журналістики для протидії російській комунікації в країнах Балтії" розрахований на рік - до 30 листопада 2016 року.

Дія проекту поширюється на всі прибалтійські країни, координатором проекту виступить посольство США в Литві.

Проект має допомогти створити систему зв'язків між випускниками проекту з трьох прибалтійських країн та "американськими наставниками, експертами, контактами" з метою "розширення аудиторії та кола джерел".

У той же час Нідерланди і Польща шукають фінансування на російськомовне ЗМІ без пропаганди. Метою проекту є забезпечення доступу російськомовних жителів Східної Європи до незалежної інформації. У березні 2015 року повідомлялося, що глави ЄС вирішили координовано боротися з російською пропагандою.

Між тим, оглядач Bloomberg вважає, що російська пропаганда за кордоном зазнала поразки. Проаналізувавши всі відповіді, експерти зробили висновок, що майже скрізь люди погано ставляться до Росії. При цьому жителі Європи не люблять її більше, ніж американці. Крім того, у Москви мало друзів на Близькому Сході і в Південній Америці.
