Представители СНГ будут первыми зарегистрированы в качестве наблюдателей на выборах президента Белоруси, сообщила глава Центризбиркома республики Лидия Ермошина в эфире белорусского телевидения в воскресенье, передает РИА Новости.
Выборы президента Беларуси назначены на 11 октября. ЦИК зарегистрировал восемь инициативных групп по выдвижению кандидатов, в том числе действующего президента Александра Лукашенко. Для регистрации в качестве кандидата нужно представить в избирательные комиссии не менее 100 тысяч подписей избирателей.
"Первая группа наблюдателей от СНГ во главе с генеральным секретарем Исполкома СНГ господином (Сергеем) Лебедевым. Их порядка 18 человек. Вот это и будет первая группа, которой мы оформим удостоверения наблюдателей", — сказала Ермошина.
Она так же сообщила, что Беларусь готовится принять большую группу наблюдателей ОБСЕ. "Уже идет набор персонала, который будет обслуживать долгосрочных наблюдателей ОБСЕ, которые к первому сентября развернут свои полевые миссии во всех крупных городах Беларуси. Потом они получат подкрепление в виде 400 краткосрочных наблюдателей ОБСЕ", — сказала глава белорусского ЦИК.
