Александр Лукашенко сдал документы, необходимые для регистрации кандидатом в президенты Беларуси, сообщает Сегодня.

Соперниками Лукашенко будут лидер Либерально-демократической партии Беларуси Сергей Гайдукевич, представитель коалиции "Говори правду" Татьяна Короткевич, а также глава Белорусской патриотической партии Николай Улахович.

Выборы состоятся 11 октября 2015 года. До этого на всех президентских выборах в стране побеждал Александр Лукашенко.

В 2010 году он набрал более 79% голосов, в 2006-м — 83%, в 2001-м — около 75%.

В 1994 году он не смог победить в первом туре, набрав менее 50% голосов. Во втором туре он соперничал с Вячеславом Кебичем и победил с большим отрывом.
