Playboy полностью откажется от публикации фотографий обнаженных женщин, которые появлялись на страницах журнала на протяжении нескольких десятилетий, сообщает tvrain.ru со ссилкой на New York Times.

Такое решение было принято в рамках обновления журнала, который должен выйти в новом дизайне к марту следующего года. По словам гендиректора компании-владельца Playboy Скотта Фландерса, журнал оказался погребен под изменениями, которые помог привнести в мир. «Эту битву мы выиграли, и теперь любой человек находится в одном клике от любого сексуального развлечения — бесплатно», — пояснил он.

Он отметил, что в августе прошлого года фотографии обнаженных женщин перестали появляться на сайте журнала, что привело к резкому «омоложению» аудитории (с 47 до 30 лет) и четырехкратному росту трафика.

Представители издания рассказали NYT, что Playboy по-прежнему будет публиковать фотографии одетых женщин в «провокативных позах».

Основанный в 1953 году Хью Хефнером журнал в 1975 году продавался тиражом в 5,6 млн экземпляров. Сейчас же издание переживает кризис — его тираж составляет 800 тысяч.
