Перебуваючи з робочим візитом у Брюсселі, Саакашвілі розповів журналістам про свої подальші плани.

Зокрема, він зазначив, що розглядає кілька пропозицій від провідних іноземних університетів про створення міжнародного наукового центру, повідомляють Вести.ру.

Саакашвілі не раз заявляв, що має намір зайнятися розвитком системи політичної освіти в Грузії, створити президентську бібліотеку та сприяти розвитку виноробства. Покидати країну він не збирається.

У жовтні Михайла Саакашвілі знову обрали лідером партії "Єдиний національний рух". Хоча деякі експерти сходяться на думці, що у нього немає політичного майбутнього, з цим не згодні однопартійці Саакашвілі.

Новим президентом Грузії обрано Георгія Маргвелашвілі. Він обіцяв поліпшити відносини з Росією і не переслідувати колишнього лідера з політичних мотивів.
