Президент Петр Порошенко не согласен с увольнением генерального прокурора Украины Виктора Шокина, хотя глава ГПУ и не против покинуть свой пост.

Об этом "Апострофу" рассказал источник во фракции "Блока Петра Порошенко" в Верховной раде.

По его словам, ходят слухи о том, что генпрокурор якобы согласен уйти в отставку, в том числе, из-за проблем со здоровьем. В то же время глава государства выступает против такого сценария.

"Порошенко его держит. На последней встрече с лидерами фракций президент, узнав о покушении (обстреле окна кабинета генпрокурора, — ред.), тут же позвонил Шокину с расспросами", — рассказал собеседник издания.
