Отдел печати чешского МИД отказал в продлении аккредитации в Чехии внештатному корреспонденту Международного информагентства "Россия сегодня" Александру Куранову со ссылкой на соответствующее решение отдела безопасности дипведомства; при этом основания для отказа засекречены, сообщают РИА Новости.

"В ответ на Вашу просьбу о продлении журналистской аккредитации сообщаю, что в Вашей просьбе отказано", — говорится в письменном уведомлении за подписью заведующей отделом печати МИД Чехии Михаэлы Лагроновой.

Позднее ее заместитель Ирэна Валентова, отвечая на вопрос РИА Новости о доводах отказа, сообщила по телефону, что это сделано на основе решения отдела безопасности (ОБ) МИД республики. Она же посоветовала собкору агентства обратиться в дипведомство с просьбой об обосновании данного решения ОБ МИД в соответствии с законом № 106 о свободном доступе к информации.

В среду сотрудница отдела печати МИД Михаэла Гавранкова представила официальный ответ на соответствующий запрос: "В связи с тем, что запрошенная информация в соответствии с правовыми нормами определена как секретная, ее нельзя предоставить". Далее приводится ссылка на соответствующий параграф закона.

Александр Куранов является собкором МИА "Россия сегодня" в Чешской Республике с июня 2014 года. Работает в Праге с 1980-х годов: сначала заведующим бюро Агентства печати "Новости", затем — собкором "Независимой газеты" и газеты "Коммерсант".
