Бывший глава Апелляционного суда Львова Игорь Зварич, который более известен по прозвищу судья-колядник, вышел на свободу.

Львовское издание Варіанти, ссылаясь на источник в Государственной пенитенциарной службе, сообщает о том, что Зварича освободили 12 января.

Сообщается также, что во время отбывания наказания, бывший судья написал три книги о коррупции в украинских судах: Mein Kampf in Ukraine, Судья-коммунист и Судья-националист.

Ранее, с июля 2015 года постановлением начальника Менской колонии Зваричу разрешили проживать вместе с членами семьи в поселке Макошино, где расположена колония.

В 2008 году в отношении Игоря Зварича, который в то время возглавлял Львовский апелляционный суд было возбуждено уголовное дело. Судью обвиняли в получении крупных взяток - в его кабинете были найдены большие суммы денег. Сам Зварич заявлял, что деньги у него оказались после того, как ими засевали при освящении кабинета. Также, по его словам, 2 миллиона долларов он взял в долг у своего друга. Игоря Зварича приговорили к 10 годам лишения свободы.
