По случаю визита президента Ирана Хасана Роухани в Италию власти решили прикрыть античные статуи в Капитолийских музеях, чтобы не обидеть его.

Об этом сообщает агентство ANSA.

Так, обнаженные скульптуры были прикрыты со всех сторон белыми непрозрачными панелями.

 
 

Такое решение было принято с учетом уважения к культуре и религиозным чувствам Ирана.

Кроме того, по этим же причинам во время официальных церемоний не подавали вино.

Как известно, с точки зрения ислама, статуи, памятники, скульптуры запрещены, так как приводят к многобожию.

Роухани посетил Капитолийский музеи вместе с премьер-министром Италии Маттео Ренци.

Как сообщалось, президент Ирана Хасан Роухани прибыл в понедельник в Италию, где начал первый европейский тур после снятия западных санкций с его страны.

Между Ираном и Италией было подписано несколько соглашений на общую сумму до 17 млрд евро.
