Nikon прибрав фото, яке перемогло на конкурсі аматорської фотографії, після того, як у соцмережах почалася суперечка через те, що воно виявилося відредагованим у Photoshop.

Чей Ю Вей із Сінгапура представив на конкурс фото літака, який тільки-но показався над будинком.

Але Nikon та пану Вею довелося вибачитись після того, як тисячі людей вказали на те, що літак «додали» до картинки.

Також виявилось, що рік тому інший фотограф опублікував в Instagram ідентичне фото.

Сінгапурський фотограф Лі Їк Кіт, який розмістив світлину раніше, сказав BBC, що не може стверджувати, що це те саме фото. Але він зауважив, що завжди визнавав, що це фотомонтаж.

Nikon повідомив, що під час прогулянки з фотоапаратом у Сінгапурі він опинився на одній драбині і зробив цікавий знімок: «Навряд чи він розраховував ухопити літак у повітрі».

Після обробки фото в Photoshop і зміни балансу кольорів навколо літака на фото з'явилася біла пляма, яка і свідчила про те, що літак скопіювали і вставили з іншого фото. Окрім того, зображення самого літака було «мозаїчним».

Інші фотографи почали звинувачувати в Instagram фотографа у навмисній підробці.

Один із користувачів соцмережі зауважив: «З фото усе нормально. Я знаю тисячі користувачів Instagram, які додають до світлин літак... у Photoshop. Проблема в тому, що ви збрехали, що очікували на цей кадр. Навколо багато недурних людей».

Хвиля звинувачень була й на адресу Nikon.

«Проблема у суддях. Можливо, ентузіасти ретельно шукали саме «неможливого» фото чи «wow ефекту» у поданих на конкурс роботах. Залучайте до суддівства справжніх фотографів і розглядайте справжні фото. Це може багато в чому допомогти репутації Nikon», - написав на своїй сторінці у Facebook інший користувач.

Nikon опублікував вибачення: «Ми не повинні були поступатися нашими стандартами навіть на такому звичайному конкурсі фото».

«Ми припустилися великої помилки і бурхлива реакція суспільства доводить, що справжній дух фотографії живий».

«Це жахливо, що виробник серйозного фотообладнання так ставиться до чесності фотографії, - сказав актор і телеведучий Дарен Лім. Якщо ви дійсно припустилися «великої помилки», то виправте її. Не намагайтесь виправдати себе тим, що це лише звичайний конкурс».

Тієї ж ночі у своєму Instagram вибачився переможець.

Попри розчарування, деякі фотографи посміялись над інцидентом і виклали свої версії відредагованих фотографій.
