Кандидат у президенти США від республіканців, губернатор штату Огайо Джон Кейсик пообіцяв надати Україні летальну зброю в перші 100 днів після того, як переможе на виборах. Про це Кейсик заявив під час свого виступу перед виборцями, повідомляє "Голос Америки".

"У перші 100 днів ми надамо зброю українцям, щоб вони могли себе захистити. Не треба ходити і залякувати всіх навколо, нам треба бути зібраними, спокійними і впевненими в собі. Ми повинні сказати Путіну: "Ми не віримо у всі ці надумані виправдання для вторгнення в інші країни, що, мовляв, ви хочете захистити російськомовне населення ", - заявив Кейсик.

Також кандидат у президенти США вважає, що не потрібно знімати санкції з Росії за те, що вона зробила з Кримом, і робить в Україні.

"Якщо ви нападете на Фінляндію, Швецію, або на кого-небудь з наших друзів в НАТО - вважайте це атакою на нас, і ми дамо гідну відповідь", - підкреслив кандидат в президенти.
