В калифорнийском городе Коста-Меса произошла драка между противниками и сторонниками кандидата в президенты США Дональда Трампа. Об этом сообщает CNN.

По информации телеканала, пока политик выступал перед несколькими тысячами своих избирателей, его оппоненты собрались около конференц-зала, где проходило мероприятие. Как сообщает полиция, они блокировали движение автотранспорта. Когда выступление завершилось, фанаты миллиардера вышли на улицу, где их встретили недовольные демонстранты, выкрикивая обвинения в расизме.

Между ними произошел ряд стычек — в сети опубликована фотография человека с разбитым лицом, одетого в футболку с фотографией Дональда Трампа. Когда манифестанты разбили заднее стекло полицейского автомобиля и стали прыгать на нем, группа правоохранителей в специальном обмундировании и конная полиция разогнали толпу. 20 особенно буйных манифестантов были задержаны.

Некоторые протестующие выкрикивали оскорбления в адрес правоохранителей, тогда как другие пытались объяснить, что их акция мирная, они недовольны взглядами Трампа, а агрессивные манифестанты не понимают замысла акции и вообще занимаются провокациями.

Дональд Трамп, фаворит гонки за право выдвинуться кандидатом в президенты США от республиканцев, собрал голоса 994 делегатов. Для гарантированного выдвижения необходима поддержка 1237 выборщиков.
