В Пакистане введен запрет на любую рекламу контрацептивов и продукции для планирования семьи в теле- и радиоэфире.

Как сообщает пакистанский государственный медиарегулятор, запрет был введен после многочисленных жалоб на то, что подобная реклама пробуждает нездоровый интерес у детей, передает ВВС

"Людей очень беспокоит демонстрация такой продукции невинным детям, которым становится интересно, как ею пользоваться", - говорится в заявлении регулятора.

В прошлом году власти страны запретили рекламу презервативов одной компании, посчитав ее аморальной. В целом же в эфире пакистанских каналов крайне редко появляется подобная реклама.

Пакистан занимает шестое место в мире по численности населения. По оценке ООН, около трети жителей страны не имеют доступа к противозачаточным средствам.

Большая часть населения страны не одобряет дискуссии об использовании презервативов, однако эксперты предупреждают, что население Пакистана растет угрожающими темпами.
