У браузері Google Chrome з'явилося розширення, яке дозволяє блокувати спойлери з серіалу "Гра престолів" у соціальних мережах.

Воно приховує публікації у соцмережах Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, а також на сайті Google News, які потенційно можуть містити спойлери.

Пост закрашується чорним, а на його місці з'являється напис із зазначенням слів, які стали причиною блокування тексту.

Серед слів-тригерів: назва серіалу, відповідні хештеги й імена ключових персонажів та акторів англійською.

Після встановлення програми у соціальних мережах можна побачити, наприклад, таке повідомлення: "Потенційний спойлер був безжально обезголовлений за дезертирство, бо наважився згадати фразу "Game of Thrones".

Втім, якщо користувач все ж хоче побачити публікацію, ця можливість йому теж надається.

Раніше аналогічне розширення для браузера були випущені перед виходом нового епізоду "Зоряних воєн". Додатки для блокування спойлерів були зроблені також для смартфонів на базі операційних систем iOS і Android.

Навесні минулого року Google запатентували систему блокування спойлерів.
