Российские ведущие СМИ оконфузились с новостью о том, что сегодня Европейский Союз якобы продлил санкционные меры в отношении России за оккупацию Крыма и ведение военных действий на Донбассе, тогда как на самом деле Совет ЕС продлил на 12 месяцев (до 23 июня 2017 года) санкции лишь в отношении аннексированного Крыма и Севастополя, передает Апостроф

Фейковую новость о якобы продлении санкций против России разместило в своем Twitter информационное агентсво "РИА Новости".

Однако позже на сайте российского информационного агентства появилась новость о том, что решение Совета Евросоюза продлить санкции в отношении аннексированных Крыма и Севастополя на 12 месяцев было принято в рамках стратегии непризнания аннексии полуострова к России.
