Також Клінтон дорікнула Трампа у зв'язках з Уолл-Стріт і в тому, що він хоче захистити інтереси фінансової еліти США за рахунок простих платників податків.

Раніше звинувачення у зв'язках з Уолл-Стріт звучали головним чином на адресу самої Клінтон, - з вуст її суперника з демократичних праймеріз Берні Сандерса, а також самого Дональда Трампа.

Дональд Трамп відреагував на виступ суперниці в соцмережах. В одному зі своїх твітів він назвав себе "королем боргу" і запевнив, що його бізнес-досвід допоможе скоротити зовнішній борг США, а в другому - нагадав Клінтон про те, що на їїї домашньому комп'ютері зберігалася секретна переписка.
