"Я готовий зробити все, щоб не переміг [претендент від Республіканської партії] Дональд Трамп. Я думаю, що якщо Трамп стане президентом, то це буде жахливо з багатьох причин", - пояснив він своє рішення.

Клінтон і Сандерс змагалися за те, аби бути номінованими у президенти від Демократичної партії.

Зрештою Клінтон заручилася підтримкою достатньої кількості делегатів для висунення своєї кандидатури в президенти, але пан Сандерс так і не надав повного схвалення колишній першій леді.
