Журналиста Даниила Александрова, который по просьбе Meduza готовил репортаж о гибели детей на Сямозере, задержали в Карелии, обвинив в работе «без лицензии», сообщает Телекритика.
 
 
Александрова 30 июня на выходе из администрации Эссойльского сельского поселения, где он общался с руководителем этого населенного пункта. К ним подошли сотрудники полиции и пригрозили изъять всю аппаратуру, либо подписать протокол об административном правонарушении. Журналист выбрал второй вариант. 
 
По его словам, сотрудники полиции настаивали на том, что Meduza - иностранное издание, поэтому оно должно иметь аккредитацию Министерства иностранных дел РФ. Однако в правилах аккредитации на сайте МИДа говорится только о сотрудниках иностранных СМИ, но ничего не сказано о внештатных авторах.
 
6 июля в поселке Пряжа состоится суд, который определит штраф для Александрова. 
 
Поскольку информация о перемещениях журналиста нигде открыто не публиковалась, а только озвучивалась в телефонных разговорах и в социальных сетях, он подозревает, что «утечка» произошла именно оттуда, потому что силовые структуры специально отслеживают
