Телекомунікаційний гігант Verizon Communications Inc. домовився про придбання інтернет-компанії Yahoo Inc за $4,8 млрд.

Про це повідомляє Інтерфакс-Україна з посиланням на The Wall Street Journal.

До складу угоди, про яку офіційно може бути оголошено вже в понеділок, входять інтернет-активи компанії і нерухомість. Згідно з даними, найімовірніше, продаж об'єктів нерухомості Yahoo та інтелектуальної власності відбудеться окремо. Verizon збирається зберегти бренд Yahoo.

Не дивлячись на продаж основного бізнесу, Yahoo планує зберегти свої частки в Alibaba Group Holding Ltd і Yahoo Japan Corp.

Нагадаємо, про можливу купівлю Verizon інтернет-компанії повідомлялося ще на початку червня цього року.
