З нагоди 25-ї річниці Незалежності України та національного свята Бразилії - Дня української громади - всесвітньовідому статую Христа-Спасителя було освітлено в кольори українського прапору.

Про це повідомляє посольство України у Бразилії, пише ТСН 

Також у Бразилії відзначили 125-ту річницю початку української міграції до цієї країни. Статую у Ріо- де-Жанейро підсвітлюють вже третій рік поспіль на прохання українського посла Ростислава Троненка.

Цього ж вечора в кольори державного прапора України вбралися Палац Ігуасу - офіційна резиденція Губернатора та уряду штату Парана, будинок опери міста Куритіба та центральний собор міста
