Прем’єр-міністр Британії Тереза Мей очолила список 50 найвпливовіших людей у світі фінансів за версією Bloomberg, повідомляє Європейська правда.

Видання відзначає, що Мей очолила країну у складний час після референдуму щодо виходу країни з Євросоюзу і зараз на кону стоїть, в тому числі, статус Лондона як головного фінансового центру Європи.

"У неї є все, щоб виграти, якщо вона зможе домовитися з ЄС щодо гострих питань, щоб банки, страхові компанії та інвестиційні фірми змогли продовжити займатися бізнесом в ЄС, базуючись у Лондоні", - пише видання.

Друге-третє місце в рейтингу розділили кандидати у президенти США Дональд Трамп та Гілларі Клінтон. Одразу за ними розташувалися голова КНР Сі Цзіньпінь та засновник американської компанії Amazon Джеффрі Безос.

До першої десятки також потрапили канцлер ФРН Ангела Меркель, президент Європейського центробанку Маріо Драгі, голова Федерального резервного фонду США Джанет Єллен, міліардер Уоррен Баффет та федеральний суддя з Бразилії Серджіо Моро, який з командою слідчих відстежив майже $2 млрд на чотирьох континентах.
