Акції відеосервісу Netflix на Нью-йоркській біржі виросли на 4,9% на тлі чуток про можливе поглинання компанії студією Walt Disney, пише Media Sapiens
 

У серпні 2016 року на ринку з'явилися чутки про можливе залучення Netflix інвестицій від китайського холдингу Alibaba Group. Тоді акції сервісу виросли майже на 4% і перевищили $ 97. Пізніше Alibaba спростувала інформацію про плани інвестувати в Netflix і у вересні акції Netflix знизилися на 14%.

Тепер вартість паперів досягла максимуму з травня 2016 року - через можливе злиття з Walt Disney. Про оперцію скоріше за все оголосять незадовго до публікації квартальної звітності в кінці жовтня. Втім, опитані Bloomberg аналітики не дуже високо оцінюють імовірність угоди. Представники Netflix відмовилися від коментарів.

Нагадаємо, 6 січня цього року американський провайдер інтернет-телебачення Netflix оголосив про запуск свого сервісу у понад 130 нових країнах світу, у тому числі Україні.

Згідно зі звітом Broadcasters' Audience Research Board (BARB), близько 24% британських домогосподарств передплатили один з  сервісів «відео на запит» як-от Amazon Instant Video чи Netflix.
