Три листи були відправлені 4 листопада 2008 року, в день, коли Обама був обраний президентом.

Сайт WikiLeaks, який раніше виклав кілька збірок електронних листів демократів, опублікував ряд послань, пов'язаних з президентом США Бараком Обамою і відправлених через секретну адресу.

Про це йдеться у повідомленні сайту в Twitter. 

сього в публікації представлено сім листів. Три листи були відправлені 4 листопада 2008 року, в день, коли Обама був обраний президентом. В більшості відправником листів є демократичний функціонер Джон Подеста, нині глава штабу кандидата в президенти Гілларі Клінтон.

Відправником одного з листів є Обама, - в посланні, написаному за кілька діб до виборів, міститься коротка обіцянка відповісти на поставлені запитання на наступний день.
