Пользователи карт Google обнаружили, что в Калининграде сервис обозначает одно из зданий как «Управление Гестапо Восточной Пруссии». Причем в этом здании расположено управление ФСБ по Калининградской области.
Если поискать на картах Google улицу Генделя, можно увидеть, что дом на углу Генделя и Советского проспекта назван «Управлением Гестапо». При поиске по точному адресу — Советский проспект дом 3 — в списке ближайших учреждений выдается УФСБ.
Калининградская «Комсомольская правда» отмечает, что в Калининграде есть такой миф: якобы до 1945 года в здании, где сейчас расположено ФСБ, находился главный кенигсбергский офис Гестапо. В действительности все было немного иначе: до войны там было главное управление полиции Восточной Пруссии, а в 1934 году часть помещений передали тайной полиции. «Управлением Гестапо» здание никогда не называлось, указывает газета.
В пресс-службе Google заявили «Медузе», что здание переименовали: «Мы в курсе сложившейся ситуации, вопрос был решён в первостепенном порядке — название оперативно исправлено».
