Популярна американська газета The Wall Street Journal, посилаючись на власні джерела, повідомляє, що джерелом більшої частини доповіді про наявність у російських спецслужб компромату на президента США Дональда Трампа є президент Російсько-Американської торгової палати в США Сергій Мілліан, пише Новое время

Журналісти видання повідомляють, що Мілліан, який є громадянином США білоруського походження, поділився наявним компроматом із людиною, яка передала його колишньому співробітнику британської розвідки Крістоферу Стілу.

Видання зазначає, що Мілліан міг не знати, що поділився інформацією з людиною, яка пов'язана з британськими спецслужбами.

Нагадаємо, раніше канал CNN повідомив, що керівництво американських спецслужб передало новообраному президентові Трампу доповідь, згідно з якою російські спецслужби зібрали на нього компромат.

За даними ЗМІ, автором доповіді про нібито наявний у РФ компромат на Трампа є колишній співробітник спецслужб Великої Британії Крістофер Стіл. Він провів кілька років під дипломатичним прикриттям, працюючи на МІ-6, в Росії та Парижі, а також у міністерстві закордонних справ та у справах Співдружності в Лондоні.

У Кремлі заявили, що інформація про наявність у російських спецслужб компромату на Трампа є фальшивкою.

Сам же обраний президент США Трамп заявив, що він жодним чином не пов'язаний з Росією і назвав публікацію ЗМІ фейком.
