Две недели назад в сетях появилось видео, на котором пассажира грубо вытолкали их самолета из-за его отказа освободить место сотрудникам компании. На United обрушилась лавина критики из-за инцидента, особенно после того, как СЕО Оскар Муньос не извинился как следует и не взял всю ответсвенность за случившееся в первом заявлении.
В последующем заявлении United отметила, что меняет политику в области денежного вознаграждения, чтобы избежать в дальнейшем подобных инцидентов. Более того, авиакомпания аннулировала предыдущее соглашение с Муньосом о том, что он возглавит совет директоров в 2018 году.
