Паризький суд виніс рішення проти української перекладачки Анни Чесановської за критику на адресу скандально відомого режисера Пола Морейри, автора фільму «Україна, маски революції», зобов'язавши її виплатити штраф і компенсацію, які можуть перевищити 13.6 тисяч євро. Як  повідомляє «Європейська правда», яка у своєму розпорядженні копію судового рішення, винесеного судом першої інстанції (tribunal correctionnel).

Як відомо, на початку минулого року на Франції вийшов в ефір фільм «Україна, маски революції», який численні спостерігачі охарактеризували як пропагандистський. Він викликав обурення не тільки в Україні. Всі без винятку французькі журналісти, які постійно працюють або регулярно відвідують Україну, підписали лист, в якому висловили своє обурення з приводу трансляції фільму і назвали його маніпулятивним. Були також публікації французьких дипломатів і громадських діячів з критикою на адресу Морейри.

Одночасно видання Le Liberation опублікувало блог Анни Чесановскої, яку Морейра найняв для перекладу невеликої частини своїх матеріалів. Українка розповіла, як відбувалося маніпулювання, повідомила деталі про цитатах політиків, які були перекладені, але не увійшли до фільму. Саме цей блог став приводом для позову з боку Морейри, якій заявив, що вважає «наклепом» звинувачення українки. Численні звинувачення в інших ЗМІ режисер проігнорував.
