Міністр закордонних справ Литви Лінас Лінкявічюс посперечався з журналісткою пропагандистського каналу Russia Today про брехню і журналістів, які працюють в контрольованих державою ЗМІ. Як передає Delfi, суперечка виникла під час конференції про безпеку журналістів у понеділок у Вільнюсі.

Представник Департаменту інформації і друку МЗС РФ Максим Буякевич заговорив про інформаційну війну. «Чи говоримо ми про щось, що тут було офіційно оприлюднено? Це наполовину питання, наполовину заява», - сказав він. Лінас Лінкявічюс на це відповів: «Якщо ви вважаєте, що ніякої війни немає, чому тоді Росія її веде? ... Чому виділяє скільки грошей і ресурсів на те, щоб промивати людям мізки, і робить це навмисно, через державні ЗМІ?».

Лінкявічюсу намагалася заперечити присутня на конференції співробітниця Russia Today. «Журналісти, які працюють в контрольованих державою ЗМІ - теж журналісти. І якщо це конференція, на якій обговорюється безпеку журналістів, то у нас теж є право на цю безпеку », - сказала вона.

«Було заявлено, що у Росії немає нічого спільного з цією війною - ніякої присутності, ніякої зброї. Це говорилося багато разів. Ви, як журналістка, насправді не знаєте, що робиться в Україні? Ви не знаєте, що Росія бере участь там з великою кількістю зброї, з важким озброєнням? Ви, як журналістка, як нормальна громадянка, яка читає газети і розуміє ситуація, не знаєте цього? »- запитав міністр.
