22 серпня, в день прапора Росії, в Новосибірську 28-річна Ксенія Сухоруких влаштувала пікет-перфоманс, прикувавши себе до пам'ятника Леніну.

Дівчина, яка вчиться на вчительку англійської мови та працює організатором заходів, вдягнула "закривавлену" (розфарбовану) нічну сорочку, що символізувала Росію уві сні, зав'язала рота й взяла до рук державний прапор.
"Основна ідея - показати вмираючу Росію: це має бути мовчки і з кров'ю. Ночнушка символізує Росію, яка спить. Зав'язаний рот - цензура. Ланцюги - безвихідь. Не встигши стати правовою державою та створити правове суспільство, ми перетворилися на поліцейську державу", - розповіла Сухоруких.
Під пам'ятником зібралися поліція, журналісти, рятувальники та медики. Після того, як дівчину відчепили від Леніна та зняли, її забрала швидка допомога. Після огляду лікарями Ксенію відвезли до поліції.
