Окружной административный суд Киева открыл производство по иску общественной организации к Министерству юстиции Украины с требованием запретить деятельность Партии регионов, соббщает zn.ua

Как сообщается на сайте суда, истец просит суд признать противоправным бездействие Минюста и обязать министерство обратиться в суд о запрете деятельности на территории Украины Партии регионов и отменить ее государственную регистрацию.

Судебное заседание назначено на 6 декабря 2017 года.

Партия регионов была создана в 1997 году. Во время президентства Виктора Януковича ее численность достигала 1,4 млн человек. В сентябре 2011 года заместитель главы Партии регионов Владимир Рыбак сообщил, что "каждый 32-й украинец получил бело- синий партбилет"

Партия регионов фактически прекратила свою деятельность в 2014 году, когда ее лидеры создали партию "Оппозиционный блок".
