Facebook планує найняти ще 1000 осіб для перевірки рекламних оголошень через інформацію про те, що Росія купувала політичну рекламу в соцмережі під час виборів в США.

Про це йдеться в заяві Facebook в понеділок, передає Українська правда із посиланням на Reuters.

Відзначається, що нові співробітники будуть найняті в наступному році.

Також компанія інвестує більше коштів в програмне забезпечення для автоматичного видалення фейкової реклами.

 "Перегляд реклами означає, що буде оцінюватися не тільки її зміст, а й контекст, в якому вона була куплена, і цільова аудиторія, тому ми змінюємо систему перевірки оголошень, щоб приділяти більше уваги цим сигналам", - сказали в компанії.

Раніше, в Facebook заявили, що протягом двох років, акаунти, які діяли з Росії, купували і поширювали в соцмережі політичну рекламу. Акаунти діяли і під час президентських виборів в США.

Як говорилося, переважна більшість цих оголошень не торкалися конкретно теми виборів, однак через ці акаунти поширювалися провокаційні повідомлення, що зачіпають теми ЛГБТ, імміграцію, права на зброю і т.д.
