В Індонезії планують заборонити показувати ЛГБТ персонажів на телевізійних шоу. Це є продовженням кампанії з приниження прав гомосексуалістів у країні. Про це повідомляють Українські новини із посиланням на The Telegraph.

За повідомленням газети Jakarta Post, передбачувана заборона була додана в законопроект про мовлення, який в даний час проходить через Палату представників країни. Вона передбачає заборонити програми, які містять будь-яке згадування або прояв членів ЛГБТ спільноти.

Повідомляється, що нові обмеження мають широку міжпартійну підтримку.

"Ми не може допускати ЛГБТ на телевізор. Це проти нашої культури", - сказав законодавець Супіадін Овен Сапутра.

"Ми повинні заборонити це раніше, ніж це стане способом життя. Це небезпечно і може зруйнувати мораль молодого покоління", - додав він.

Згідно з новим законопроектом, всі програми і фільми повинні будуть перевірятися на наявність у них персонажів нетрадиційного співтовариства.

"Я впевнений, що є ще більш творчі способи розважити людей, замість того, щоб показувати їм ЛГБТ", - сказав Ханафі Раїс з Партії національного мандата, виправдовуючи новий закон.

Бути геєм в Індонезії законно, крім провінції Ачех, де застосовується закон шаріату.

Проте спільнота ЛГБТ піддається все більшого тиску з боку консервативних сил по всій країні. У травні поліція вчинила наліт на гей-сауну в Джакарті, заарештувавши 141 людину.

Тим часом впливовий "Союз родинної любові" наполягає на тому, щоб Індонезія оголосила поза законом дошлюбний секс. Для цього було б ефективно заборонити відносини ЛГБТ, оскільки одностатевий шлюб в країні не легалізований.
