Колишній офіційний фотограф Барака Обами Піт Соуза опублікував в Instagram знімки так званої «ядерної валізки» президента США.

Соуза опублікував фотографії після того, як чинний президент Дональд Трамп у полеміці з лідером КНДР Кім Чен Ином заявив, що його «ядерна кнопка» більша і потужніша, ніж у корейця.

На одному з архівних знімків співробітник Білого дому піднімає на борт сумку, у якій знаходиться точка управління системою стратегічної оборони США.

На іншому фото - «червона кнопка», встановлена на столі президента США в Овальному кабінеті. На панелі з президентським гербом знаходиться табличка з написом «Важкі рішення приймати важко» (Hard things are hard).

«На щастя, червона кнопка тут не для того, щоб почати війну, - вона використовується для виклику помічника», - зазначив Соуза в описі до світлини.
