Многие пользователи заметили, что ведущая, начавшая карьеру еще в 1996 году (тогда ей было 23 года), почти не изменилась к 2018 году. Некоторые назвали ее "нестареющей богиней", а другие предположили, что все выпуски прогнозов за последние двадцать лет были записаны в один день.

На особенность внешности Янг Дэн обратили внимание и сами работники ЦТВК, куда она пришла работать через год после окончания китайского Университета коммуникаций (тогда – Пекинского вещательного института).
