Facebook разрешит рекламу криптовалют, при этом сохранит запрет на рекламу ICO (процедуру первичного размещения токенов) и бинарных опционов, сообщает директор по управлению продуктом Роб Лизерн (Rob Leathern).

 
"В январе мы объявили о новой политике, чтобы "запретить рекламу, направленную на продвижение финансовых продуктов и услуг, которые зачастую связаны с обманом или плутовскими методами рекламного продвижения, такие как бинарные опционы, ICO и криптовалюты", — написал Лизерн в своем блоге. Он отметил, что запрет был сделан масштабным, чтобы в будущем компания могла лучше выявить вводящие в заблуждение рекламные практики.

Лизерн также сообщил, что последние несколько месяцев компания изучала возможности для уточнения этой политики, чтобы разрешить некоторые рекламные объявления. "Начиная с 26 июня мы будем обновлять нашу политику, чтобы разрешить рекламные объявления, направленные на продвижение криптовалют и связанного с ними контента рекламодателям, имеющим предварительное разрешение. Но мы по-прежнему оставляем в силе запрет, касающийся продвижения бинарных опционов и ICO", — написал директор по управлению продуктом Facebook.

Рекламодатели, которые хотят размещать рекламу криптовалют в Facebook, должны будут подать заявку, после чего социальная сеть примет решение, публиковать ли их объявления.
