После многочисленных слухов о смерти или серьезной болезни экс-президент Украины Виктор Янукович решил напомнить о себе. И опять в Ростове-на-Дону.
Правда, теперь на пресс-конференцию он не расщедрился, ограничился 5-минутным заявлением. Непосредственно перед выступлением президента в изгнании журналистов предупредили – вопросы Януковичу не задавать. "Обозреватель" внимательно следил, о чем счел нужным сообщить народу Украины человек, считающий себя президентом, и собрал ключевые цитаты короткого спича Януковича в Ростове-на-Дону.
- Я жив. Хотя не могу сказать, что чувствую себя хорошо. Потому что не могу видеть без глубочайшей, страшной тревоги то, что происходит в Украине.
- В стране действует банда ультранационалистов и неофашистов, которые метят уже и на президентский пост.
- Вдумайтесь, они хотят поставить армию под знамя Бандеры и развязать гражданскую войну.
- Хочу спросить у покровителей этих темных сил на западе: вы ослепли? Вы потеряли память? Забыли, что такое фашизм?
- Министры европейских стран подписались под документом - не гарантии мне, а гарантии гражданского мира в Украине – и растоптали этот документ.
- В отличие от банды негодяев, которые на Майдане давали приказ стрелять по своим, солдаты и офицеры понимают, чего вы стоите и не будут выполнять ваши преступные приказы.
- Я остаюсь не только единственным легитимным президентом, но и верховным главнокомандующим. Я не прекращал досрочно полномочий. Я жив. Меня не отрешали от должности в порядке, предусмотренном Конституцией Украины.
- Я никуда не сбегал. В момент захвата радикалами правительственных зданий, Администрации президента, по сути, антиконституционного захвата власти с оружием в руках, я находился в Украине, в Харькове, потом в Донецке, потом в Крыму.

- Выборы президента, которые объявлены на 25 мая захватившей в результате неконституционного переворота власть кликой, абсолютно нелегитимны и незаконны. Любые органы власти, сформированные в результате этих выборов - также нелегитимны и незаконны.
- Всем известно о намерении США выделить 1 млрд этому бандитскому режиму. Насколько мне известно, законодательство США, статья 84-22 раздела 22 Свода законов запрещает предоставлять финансовую помощь правительству любого государства, законно избранный президент которого был свержен в результате военного переворота или другого незаконного решения. Я намерен обратиться Конгресс, Сенат, Верховный суд США с настоятельным предложением дать оценку руководству этой страны. Вы не имеете права, по вашим собственным законам, давать деньги бандитам.
- В ближайшее время будет происходить серьезное ухудшение социально-экономической ситуации в стране. Это будет прямым ударом по народу Украины. Узурпаторы, захватившие власть, будут пытаться перекладывать ответственность за это на меня и, возможно, на Россию. Я с этим никогда не соглашусь. Я здесь ни при чем.
- Вы, незаконно захватившие власть, за приказы стрелять в народ рано или поздно - а скорее рано - ответите. Ответите за мучения народа.
- Ваши действия привели к тому, что откалывается Крым. Что даже под дулом автомата население юго-востока требует уважения к себе и своим правам. Мы переживем эту смуту. Люди, одураченные вами, прозреют. Страна объединится.
