Несколько дней назад Burger King в Бельгии обнаружил наружную рекламу McDonald’s, которую конкурент разместил рядом с новым рестораном, спросив у потребителей, предпочитают ли они, чтобы их «обслуживал Король или им подавали как Королю» (served by a King or served as a King), рекламируя при этом сервис обслуживания столиков. Burger King воспользовался возможностью и отреагировал на креатив конкурента собственным сообщением: «Зачем пытаться высмеивать, если не можете даже приготовить на гриле?» (Why try to roast when you can’t even flame grill?). Сеть ресторанов использовала двойное значение слова roast, которого с английского переводится как «поджаривать» и «высмеивать», напомнив McDonald’s, что не следует подшучивать над Burger King и подчеркнув лишний раз вкус бургеров на гриле. Кампания была создана агентством Buzzman.
