У п'ятницю, 23 серпня, в США відзначили День державного прапора України. Там над будівлею українського посольства у Вашингтоні підняли синьо-жовтий стяг. Про це інформує пресслужба диппредставництва.

Як зазначається, участь у заході взяли посол України у США Валерій Чалий, а також співробітники посольства.

"У Вашингтоні у Посольстві України в США в День державного прапора України урочисто підняли синьо-жовтий стяг", - йдеться у повідомленні. 

В Україні вже також розпочалися урочистості з нагоди святкування Дня прапора. Зокрема, о 09:00 на Софійській площі у Києві за участі президента Зеленського 

Зеленський прибув на Софійську площу святкувати День прапора відбулася церемонія офіційного підняття українського стяга.
