СИТУАТИВНІСТЬ. Завдяки миттєвому зв’язку та обміну інформацією, реакція стає масовою та блискавичною. Авдиторія жадібна на справді яскраві події, які більше за інших виблискують в хмарі світляків. Бренди швидше реагуватимуть на такі спалахи і генеруватимуть ситуативний контент, аби й собі вхопити побільше променів слави.

Гарячий приклад — сучасний твір мистецтва Мауріціо Каттелана — банан, приліплений до стіни липкою стрічкою. Вартість твору становила 120 000 $ до того, як їстівну частину твору з’їв відвідувач виставки — ще один сучасний художник — Девід Датуна. Інтернет-мережа вибухнула новиною, а нагоду хайпанути на ситуації використали McDonald’s, Burger King, Tekzen та Meny.
