В конце 2019 года в Instagram набрал популярность аккаунт Чувак с плакатом — парень выходил на одиночные пикеты с разными абсурдными требованиями и посланиями. Теперь такой Чувак появился и в Киеве.

Чувак с плакатом протестовал против несмешных шуток, за увеличение количества чипсов в пачке и даже жаловался на ретроградный меркурий. Сейчас на него подписаны более 5 миллионов человек.

Позднее в аккаунте появилась приписка, что профиль ведет маркетинговая компания Jerry Media. Это подтверждается тем, что в комментариях иногда появляется аккаунт компании с рекламой вещей, которые носит парень.

Позднее у Чувака появилась Чувиха, которая устраивала одиночные пикеты с феминистическим подтекстом.

Теперь и у Киева появился свой Чувак. Сергей Repostless уточняет, что вдохновился оригинальным dudewithsign — в описании есть приписка, что его аккаунт — это «локальная адаптация юмористического протеста».
