Швейцарский художник Симон Бергер нашел необычный способ самовыражения. Он создает картины, разбивая стекло. Если рассматривать произведения Бергера вблизи, они кажутся результатом вандализма. Однако, если отойти на несколько шагов назад, видно, что из трещин складывается изображение.

Бергер говорит, что, как художник, он хочет, чтобы его принимали всерьез, хочет привлекать внимание. А проще всего достичь этого, применяя технику, которую ранее никто не использовал. И что ламинированное стекло — отличный материал для новаторства.

Симон рассказал о процессе своего творчества. Сначала, как сообщает DW, он фотографирует моделей, портрет которых хочет сделать. Затем обрабатывает изображение на компьютере и распечатывает окончательную версию. А после приступает непосредственно к работе по стеклу, отмечая маркером, где необходимо нанести удар, а какие области оставить нетронутыми. Одно неточное движение может все испортить.

Он наносит удары в строго определенных местах, точно рассчитав силу. При этом пользуется кувалдой, молотком, долотом, стамесками и прочими инструментами.

Бергер прославился благодаря одному из своих недавних произведений — портрету на витрине одного из магазинов города Базель. Фотографии витрины стали вирусными в соцсетях.
